Julian and I became great freinds in our 1st year teacher training. He encouraged me to gorw my first beard. I recall Julian trying to play American Pie on the guitar in our rooms in South Cloisters at St Luke's. We travelled across the USA after BunCamp which was an amazing experience and what a gentleman and great travelling companion, 5 of us bundled into a car with all of our kit, sleeping rough on the way to California. We lost touch over the years and in the process of trying to find Julian I am overwhelmed to hear of this said news. I am so sorry to have missed him. Reading the other stories Julian has left a wonderfull footprint on the world, a very rare person and very good friend.
